Trainings

I-LAP-US, in collaboration with the National Baptist Church of Pakistan (NBCP) and Interfaith League Against Poverty-PAK (I-LAP-PAK) warmly invite Christian men and women to enroll in this transformative Virtual Training Course for Pastors and Laypersons.

This course is designedto significantly deepen the understanding of the Bible by exploring its unified story and central message.

Whether you are new to biblical study or already familiar with Scripture, this course will equip you with a clear framework for interpreting the Bible as one coherent narrative. It will help you grasp how each book fits into the overarching plan of God, strengthening your theological foundation and enhancing your personal walk with Christ, as well as your ability to share the Gospel more effectively with others.

Duration of the Course: 10 months

Introduction to the Bible is divided into two parts, spread over two semesters. The course presents the one unfolding story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, in an in-depth but accessible manner for all Christians. The material follows the story of God’s kingdom as it develops through the various covenants in the Bible. Working with a definition of God’s kingdom as “God’s people living in God’s place under God’s rule administered by God’s representative,” we will see how the Old Testament points forward to Jesus and his kingdom. This course demonstrates how the story of God’s kingdom travels along the tracks of God’s covenants in the Bible—kingdom through covenant.

Applicants must have completed at least 12 years of study and possess a valid intermediate (12th grade) certificate or equivalent. There is no age restriction, and all are welcome to grow in biblical understanding, spiritual maturity, and their ability to serve and lead more effectively in their communities.
