The Religious Literacy Training: Introduction to the Bible for Pastors and Laypersons, which began on July 17, 2025, successfully concluded on April 30, 2026. Throughout the program, attendance remained consistently strong, and participants stayed actively engaged, reflecting a genuine desire to learn and grow.
Lay participants shared that this was the first time they had approached the Bible in such a structured and meaningful way, which helped them understand its message more clearly. Pastors, despite their seminary training, expressed that the course offered fresh perspectives and deeper insights, enriching their understanding and ministry.
The participants expressed heartfelt appreciation to Pastor Les Bollinger and Sajid Sandhu for their dedication and impactful teaching. The training material was widely praised for being clear, accessible, and well-supported with biblical references, making learning both comprehensive and practical. Special appreciation went to Sajid Sandhu for providing real-time translation, a challenging task that ensured all participants could fully benefit from the sessions.
Nazia Ansari, Executive Director of I-LAP, was also acknowledged for her consistent coordination, thoughtful organization, and attention to detail, including the weekly arrangements that created a welcoming and supportive environment.
While participants felt a sense of sadness at the conclusion of the training, they expressed a strong desire for more such opportunities. I-LAP remains committed to organizing programs that promote learning, interfaith harmony, and peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths and backgrounds.
